Gemuga Hitomi - Quick Colored Sketch #14

A random quick sketch of one of my protagonist OCs with a very happy expression. Her name is Gemuga, Hitomi.

Gemuga is an extroverted person. She is an avid gamer and loves to watch anime and read manga. Very knowledgeable within the realm of video games and loves to make references to all kinds of games, anime, manga, and other silly tidbits of information. She likes playing games so much to the point where she creates a club at her school made for extreme hardcore gamers or otherwise hobbyist like her.

Gemuga is known to be a cheerful, bright, hard-to-anger person. She likes to help others especially when they're in trouble in a video game. She will go over the basics and offer tips and advice to help better them. She's a bit clumsy and easily exploited sometimes, but when it comes to her favorite hobbies, she will beat anyone who dare challenge her.

In the story I'm creating for Gemuga, she lives in an alternate futuristic Japan, set in 2020. In this time, robots are commonplace in households, food is easily accessible, little to no pollution in the environment, easy-to-live arrangements and households, and more. A utopian renaissance-type of society, so to speak. However, in this alternate universe, games, anime, and manga are king! Matches/duels whether it be video games or art/story competitions settle ALL disputes or issues. Some matches may even decide if a law can be set in place!

Gemuga was living in traditional family of four with a mother, father and younger sister. The entire family all loved playing video games, watching anime and reading manga. Her parents were game-developers in a worldwide famous video company named, Pri-Tendo. However, something happened that separated this petite family which caused all kinds of strife and ill intentions within.

Fast forward to the present day, Gemuga, no longer has the family she once had. Since then she has kept her childhood love for video games close to her heart to this day. She vows to take revenge and ruin the man and its lying corporations who had distorted her family through various methods. Nowadays, she has created a school club for gaming and other activities which started ever since her time in the Middle School branch of her education institute.

During the 2nd year of club establishment, she meets a boy and a girl who wanted to join the club. She finds out soon enough that they're newbie gamers. However, Gemuga finds potential in these two and decides to help them out.
